About Us

Hello! Silver Birch Cards is a small team of artists, graphic designers and creative types who love art and enjoy working with beautiful images. We started Silver Birch Cards in 2022 and it's grown so much in a short space of time into an established Art Greeting Card Publishing Company. Our operations are based in a small village in Mid-Wales and all our employees live here too. In 2025 we moved into a custom built unit as we had outgrown our original studio.

We take a lot of pleasure in good organisation and neatness so we really enjoy packing up orders efficiently with no plastic. Plastic is something we don't like to use, so we buy recycled, paper-based packaging products whenever we can. 

We also have a company dog called Brenin (Welsh for King) who oversees all the orders going out and lets us know when the postman arrives. Brenin used to live and work on a local farm but he much prefers working inside these days. For those interested he is a Huntaway which is a New Zealand breed of sheepdog. 

Our team consists of 8 members:

Sian - Owner and main contact for everyone

Ian - Artist and creative thinker (also carries lots of boxes and builds things)

Carla - Fulfilment expert. Every order is carefully picked and processed by Carla

Lydia - Artist and banding quality control

Geraldine - Card banding and admin assistant 

Annabel - Artist and social media 

Taran - Card banding

Brenin - Staff morale, protection and postal collection alert

If you have a dog in the office, send us a photo by uploading it to our image collection server. This QR code takes you straight there. Remember to leave us a message too after you have uploaded it.
